STILL DROPPING

Very quick blog update as I am ridiculously tired. Feel I been hit over the head with a sledge hammer. Counts still falling. Wish I had someway to put the brakes on, but all I can do is hang out and wait. As one of the doctors said, everything is working at a cellular level and beyond my control. It's a horrible position to be in. Am just about to start a stint of 12 hours or so of 'nil by mouth". Some point tomorrow they will be performing the endoscopy. Though I don't think I need it. But, hey, what do I know... Whoops feeling a bit cranky this evening. Not got out of bed for two days. Seen no sky. Hair dropping out. Pillow full of it. Chemo head starting to appear. Another new thing to appear is a high heart rate. But still managing to stay infection free. Hope at least I can keep that up for the new year. Talking of which, when the midnight strikes tomorrow, happy new year to all. Lets hope 2013 brings the best for everyone. Bed for me now. Greetings and love. Back soon. tch xx

Hey Tessa, hang in there and hold on to the fact you're infection free and that's the best you can be for your new babies to get their act together. Here's to good things in the new year for us all, love lynn x

Hope you had a good rest last night and good luck with the endoscopy. I went shopping at a fantastic farm shop on Saturday. McKnades of Faversham (http://www.macknade.com/index.html). I fancied buying unpackaged veg. I got a bunch of really plump, ripe on the vine plum tomatoes and a single chilli. Guess what's coming up – yes a vongole! I skinned and deseeded the tomatoes as well. Also got a couple of bottles of Keo beer (Cyprus) to remind me of my trip there back in November 2011. All the best for NY13 (that's young people's speak for happy new year). Tony

Darling Tess, I'm thinking of you very much, very often, very strongly as I have for the 12 days of Christmas, umpteen days before and will for myriad blessed days to come. Sorry my thoughts have not been in black and white - they still work just as well, promise - I've been locked into a struggle with my new and sulky ipad (more like iheadmistress if you ask me) which hasn't let me complete 4 messages on this blog and wiped the triumphant 5th! I talk to you every day via your lovely Accademmia which beams in a langorous way from the chimney breast. Currently it's draped in ivy and a large angel for Christmas you and the babies. The angel is tin and appears to be wering a nappy, nonetheless She's very powerful and she knows what she has to do. I bought her in Oaxaca, Mexico where they don't just believe in miracles, they lead their lives by them. Darling girl, love you very much and am with you these last bad days of a bad old year - and will be tomorrow and the glorious days of 2013. Many kisses and careful hugs. Hope my trusty old laptop succeeds where i-missbossymiss failed.xxxTina
